How to Delete Forward on iPad with the Magic Keyboard

The Magic Keyboard for iPad does not have a dedicated forward delete key. However, you can still delete text forward by using the Control + D keyboard shortcut.

To use this shortcut, first move your cursor to the position where you want to delete text. Then, press and hold the Control key and press the D key. The text following the cursor will be deleted.

You can also use the trackpad to delete text forward. To do this, first move your cursor to the position where you want to delete text. Then, swipe left with two fingers on the trackpad. The text following the cursor will be deleted.

Note that the Control + D keyboard shortcut and the trackpad swipe gesture will only delete text. They will not delete other elements, such as images, tables, or links.

Here are some additional tips for deleting text forward on an iPad with the Magic Keyboard:

If you are using a Bluetooth keyboard, you may need to press and hold the Control key for a slightly longer period of time before pressing the D key. This is because Bluetooth keyboards often have a slight delay when registering key presses.

If you are using the trackpad, you may need to swipe left with a slightly more forceful gesture to delete text. This is because the trackpad is more sensitive than a physical keyboard.

I hope this helps!
