Google Maps and Chrome new features

Google Maps and Chrome are getting a number of new features, including the ability to see live traffic data in more cities, a new way to save places, and a more detailed view of public transit.

The live traffic data will be available in more than 200 cities around the world, including Istanbul, Ankara, and İzmir in Turkey. The new way to save places will allow users to create folders and add notes to their saved locations. And the more detailed view of public transit will show users the arrival and departure times for buses, trains, and other forms of public transportation.

These new features are available now in the latest versions of Google Maps and Chrome. To learn more, visit the Google Maps blog.

Here are some additional details about the new features:

Live traffic data: Google Maps now shows live traffic data in more than 200 cities around the world. This data is collected from a variety of sources, including sensors on the road, GPS data from cars, and data from public transportation agencies. The live traffic data shows users the current traffic conditions on their route, so they can plan their trip accordingly.

New way to save places: Google Maps now has a new way to save places. Users can create folders to organize their saved locations, and they can add notes to each location. This makes it easy to find and keep track of the places you care about.

More detailed view of public transit: Google Maps now shows a more detailed view of public transit. This view shows the arrival and departure times for buses, trains, and other forms of public transportation. It also shows the route that the public transportation takes, so you can see exactly where it's going.

These new features make Google Maps and Chrome even more useful for planning trips and getting around.
